Our Story
Who We Are
The Parched Pug started with 2 people and their love for good food, beer, games, and dogs, not necessarily in that order. We wanted to create more of a destination vs just another bar or restaurant. It was time to put on our thinking caps and figure out how we could do this. We began with the idea of a table top miniature golf ( Nanoputt) and the designing began. But that wasn't going to be enough so 200 board games were purchased so there would be something for everyone. Next we learned about Pour my Beer and their self pour beverage system and knew we had to have that. The ability to choose from 42 taps and try whatever you want. How cool is that!? It was important to us to support other local businesses, so all beverages on our self pour wall are from local breweries, cideries, and wineries. And of course we needed to have great food to go along with everything else.
To some this might seem like enough. But no, we had 1 more component we wanted to have and that was supporting local animal rescues. We have 4 dogs, 2 pugs and 2 others, and they are all rescues. We are lucky to have them and they us. But so many dogs are not so lucky and we know WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
So there you have it.

The Parched Pug concept is a hybrid service gastropub with self-pour craft beer and wine along with unique and traditional games.
